The Beginning Floor Plan

This is the layout of my craftroom. It is 14'5-1/2" x 10'5", and I love this room, except it is overstuffed and in desparate need of organization and the right storage system. I think Scrap N Cube would fit the bill perfectly.

Starting on the left of the drawn floorplan, you can see my current computer desk, woefully lacking in storage space, and it is always cluttered and driving me crazy!

Then, moving to the top of the drawn floorplan, you can see this wall, that has a large window. I have a TON of paper, 8-1/2 x 11" reams, as well as 12x12 paper that I like to keep in vertical file folders that protects the paper and keeps it organized. I will need the album cubes to handle this vertical paper, and then I would like to stack cubes on top of those that would hold the 8-1/2 x 11 paper.

I have a lot of stacking drawers and tubs for various scrapbooking and stamping supplies. I also have my little sewing table set up on the right, so I need space for that.

A closer view of the sewing area, with a tall bookshelf that has additional tubs of stamping supplies stacked in front.

My beloved AccuCut die cutting machine, which I need more storage space for all my dies. How do we go vertical on top of the machine? AccuCut has storage shelves for dies, and those could be incorporated somehow.

This is a first guesstimate on what the floor plan could look like with Scrap N Cube products. You could see from the photos that I have a lot of untapped space on my walls, so going vertical is going to be key. All the desks and tables should use vertical stacking on top. The two 48" craft tables I would like to use to have friends over to craft with me. I think I can fit four people along those two tables. Also, I need two file drawers for all my business files. I think that would fit best on the 35" craft table.
